Red Granite has a higher quartz crystal content (approximately 28%) than all other types of granite, providing the best surface hardness and wear resistance. Can outlast black granite plates as much as 5 to 1.
Great for any kind of layout work or on the spot inspection. Have a surface plate on the bench, in your office, at the mill or lathe, in the assembly room, or wherever you want a precision working surface.
